Ford Figo Car
Recently, the much awaited car of Ford – Figo launched in India. On this occasion, Michale Boneham who is the President and Managing Director of Ford India said, “The car is unbelievably priced for the Indian customers. Class leading space, class leading technology and first time the option of blue tooth is available in B segment cars. Right cost of ownership, not just surprising it is great. But the overall equation for a cost of ownership point of view: fuel economy, as well as parts protection. So great host of things, we have been able to put together for this great planet” The statement was published in sify.com, an online news portal.

Further, www.zigwheels.com which is an auto news portal writes about Ford Figo, “We quite liked the Ford Figo when we chanced to drive it just last month, and our verdict for the car was certainly positive albeit if Ford India managed to price the car sensibly. Pricing for the new hatch has just been revealed, and Ford seems to have gone for the jugular - the Figo will start from Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the base version 1.2 petrol. The 1.4-litre diesel engine option will start from Rs 4,47,900 (ex-showroom Delhi).”

In a comparative look of Ford Figo prices, the news portal writes, “Pricing is at par with the respective new benchmarks for hatchbacks. The 1.2 petrol Figo will equal the smaller but newer Chevrolet Beat in its pricing, while the 1.4 diesel is almost at par with the Maruti Suzuki Ritz. The diesel variant will also undercut the newly launched Volkswagen Polo 1.2 diesel by almost half a lakh of rupees.”

Prices of Figo 1.2 Petrol version for different variants are - Lxi - Rs 3,49,900; Exi - Rs 3,81,900; Zxi - Rs 3,99,900 and Titanium - Rs 4,42,900.

On the other hand, Prices of Figo 1.4 TDCi Diesel version for different variants are - Lxi - 4,47,900; Exi - 4,72,900; Zxi - 4,96,900 and Titanium - 5,29,900.

Now, Ford has decided to compete with others small cars in Indian auto industry. So, it has launched Figo on affordable prices according to the needs and capability of Indian consumers.
